is it more beneficial to line work & color work in illustrator? i read a wikipedia article that vector art is key for print because it is scalable, however comics & magazines commonly use photoshop a bitmap program
I prefer to use Photoshop most of the time, unless the project needs to be printed in an extremely large size with good resolution—as the Wikipedia article explains. Unfortunately, Adobe Illustrator still doesn’t work very well with large file sizes, and isn’t as good as Photoshop at recognizing subtle brushstrokes.
